By Car
Oakland is easily accessible from the Bay Area and beyond:
- • From San Francisco: Cross the Bay Bridge (I-80 East), approximately 20 minutes
- • From San Jose: Take I-880 North, approximately 45 minutes
- • From Sacramento: Take I-80 West, approximately 90 minutes
Parking
Hive Oakland Parking Lot
Paid parking is available at the Hive Oakland parking lot on 24th St & Broadway, conveniently located near both venues.

- • Location: 24th St & Broadway
Additional street parking is available in the surrounding Uptown Oakland area. Meters typically operate Monday-Saturday. We encourage carpooling when possible.
Public Transportation
Oakland is well-connected by public transit:
- • BART: Bay Area Rapid Transit connects Oakland to San Francisco, Berkeley, and the broader Bay Area. The nearest station is 19th St. Oakland Station, just 3 blocks from Oakstop.

We are committed to making The Ember Gathering accessible to all. Both Oakstop and The New Parkway Theater are wheelchair accessible with accessible restrooms and facilities.
Note: The two venues are in separate locations (approximately 2-3 blocks apart). There will be walking between venues throughout the gathering. Accessible streets and sidewalks connect both locations.
